Western Ghats is inarguably part of the lungs of the world. Something that is fast dwindling out too. These mountains are said to be older than the Himalayas geologically. This is where green culture spread its shiny wings to enlighten this part of the world through elite human beings who, of course started thinking sensibly. The authors, influenced by many such pro-environmental initiatives started venturing into these lush wilderness ten years back. Since then, there has been no turning back. They have literally straddled the southern extent of the Western Ghats ranging between southern Karnataka and southern most tip of Tamil Nadu, running through almost entire Kerala. Here they think it's time to tell a story or two from their experiences and inferences.
